3 spectacular locations that will leave you enthralled...

Summer is slowly slipping away and we’re already rummaging through the closet for warmer clothes.

However, we know better than anyone else how to maintain the fun, and have a “jolly good time”, even when the sun is shining. It's Britian afterall.

Therefore, here’s a list of places to visit this autumn to make the most of your time before winter arrives.

  1. Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, Yorkshire

With a fantastic history, that can be traced all the way back to 1132, Fountains Abbey is one of the best places to visit during autumn. Take in the spectacular views and landscapes this place has to offer on a guided wildlife walk, before exploring the Georgian water gardens which are still standing today.

If you’re going as a family, the deer watching and bird feeder making workshops are sure to leave you entertained.

Nearest Station: Knaresborough

  1. Cardinham Woods, Cornwall

A British utopia, complete with fantastic experiences and family friendly places to visit. Consisting of 650 acres of forestation, Cardinham Woods invites dog walkers, cycling enthusiasts, hikers and many more, to enjoy a long weekend of natural beauty, incredible architecture and delicious culinary experiences.

Visit the Lanhydrock House and its gardens, a Victorian country house and a member of the National Trust, or visit the historical Bodmin and Wenford Railway station.

Take a moment to entertain the little ones at the Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre and Siblyback Lake Country Park.
