You can purchase 1 year Railcard gift cards for £26 from selected Sainsbury's, Tesco, Clinton Cards and WHSmith stores and online.
A Railcard gift card makes the perfect gift. It's sometimes difficult to know what to buy for a friend or family member, but with a Railcard gift card you have the chance to give a year's worth of discounted rail travel to loved ones for only £26.
To turn a Railcard gift card into a Railcard only takes a few minutes and can be completed online or via the telephone (please call 08448 714 133). At the moment the 16-25 Railcard gift cards cannot be redeemed over the telephone.
Please note a Railcard gift card is not a valid Railcard and will not be accepted at ticket offices.

Family & Friends Railcard Gift Card
A Family & Friends Railcard gift card has the same great benefits of a Railcard. Once the gift card has been redeemed online or by the telephone the Railcard holder will be entitled to all of the great Family & Friends Railcard benefits including 1/3 off most adult fares and 60% of kids' fares throughout Great Britain. One Railcard also enables up to four adults and four children aged 5-15 to benefit from discounted rail fares.
Aswell as greater savings on rail fares, Railcard holders can also take advantage of exclusive offers with our partners.
Redeeming a Family & Friends Railcard Gift Card
Redeeming a Railcard gift card is easy and only takes a few minutes, but before you do so please read our eligibility section to ensure you are entitled to a Family & Friends Railcard.
Once you're ready you can redeem your gift card. If you have never held a Family & Friends Railcard before you need to select 'Redeem my Gift Card' and follow the onscreen instructions. If you already have a 1 year Family & Friends Railcard you can renew your Railcard with your gift card by selecting 'Renew my Railcard'.
Once you have completed your application your new Railcard will be despatched within one working day and sent to you free of charge via first class post.
